BEER MAKING. HOW THEY DO IT.
Brewing is the method of producing an alcoholic beverage by steeping a starch product, usually a cereal grain, in water and then fermenting it by adding yeast. Beer is the most common form of this type of beverage but Japanese Sake with some variations, is also brewed. Archaeological evidence provides clues suggesting that brewing has been done since around the sixth millennium B.C. in ancient Egypt. Beer recipes have also been found in Sumerian writings, which are some of the oldest written records known. Brewing takes place in facilities called breweries and the people who brew are logically called brewers. Brewing has always been a major component of the economies of Western nations.
